Hi, I’m Liesh ~ the photographer behind Petal & Prairie Photography.

I’m a wife, a mum of four and a storyteller at heart based in rural NSW. My husband is my biggest supporter,  always backing my ideas (even the slightly wild ones), carrying the heavy load behind the scenes and often stepping in to take my headshots when needed. That support, alongside motherhood, has shaped not only who I am but how I photograph,  slower, softer and with intention.

My four children are my reason. They inspire everything I do and remind me daily of the importance of showing up, chasing your dreams and putting in the work. I hope by example, to show them that with dedication and heart, anything you imagine is possible.

My photography style is relaxed, natural and deeply story-driven. I focus on honest connection, emotion and the quiet in-between moments,  the ones that feel ordinary now but become priceless over time. Sessions are gently guided, never rushed and always centred around your story, allowing space to simply be.

Photography became more than a creative outlet for me,  it became a way to preserve seasons of life as they’re felt, not just how they look. I’m currently bringing a long-time dream to life by renovating a completely gutted caravan into a luxe, earthy photography studio, a space designed for soft light, connection and slowing down.
